The
Gloucester Model Flying Club flying field is located about half way between
Gloucester and Stroud and is less than six miles from Gloucester city centre. From
Junction 12 on the M5 take the B4008 towards Standish/Stonehouse. Blooms
garden centre is on your right then over pointless mini roundabout. About 250 yards further on the right is the entrance to our field. It
is directly opposite the first entrance to lay-by on left, if you get to very
sharp bend you have gone to far. Beware
when turning in and out of field as this piece of road is a favourite with boy
racers (both two wheels and four) to practice accelerating, often followed by a
screech and thump as they fail to negotiate the sharp bend at the end. Best time to catch us is Sunday afternoon but this can depend on the weather. Gloucester model flying Club
