Near miss
It is understood the model plane came within seconds of colliding with the 160-seat 737 aircraft and crashed to the ground after being hit by the jet wash on Friday.

Sunday  
A F3J launch practice session took place on Minchinhampton common, we optimized flap settings and practiced launching

A dozen members of the West Essex club flew a mixture of flying wings, gliders and electric gliders at Haresfield Beacon (they normally fly power models from a flat field).
 
Unfortunately one electric glider stopped responding to the Tx, and was last seen heading in the direction of Moreton Valence. So if a farmer does report finding an electric glider in his/her field it may belong to Mike from the West Essex club.
