| Tuesday 27th Just 4 flyers flew tonight. The breeze was in our favor as it was blowing down the strip. David continues to gain confidence with his Sky Scooter, until he crashed it while trying to bunt it. Malcolm threw his Wot 4 around the sky, as well as practicing his touch 'n' goes. Jon flew his mustang with its new decal, a swastika with Darren on ( no idea why!!!!!). Clive managed to penetrate the breeze with his Styrker. Darren |

Writing this from my hotel room in Italy so no report on what is happening back home. After the two weeks of rain at the end of March we have now had three dry days. With an area of high pressure building it looks like it we are forecast a period of fine weather well into net week. With increasing warmth from the sun and a nice breeze the ground should dry pretty quickly so we should be able to get on with work on the access track next week. Chris B. |

Sunday 4th Made a quick visit to the field late afternoon to have a look at conditions, not a bad afternoon dry sunny with a light north-westerly breeze. Only Ken was there flying his vintage Super 60. A few other members had been during the day. The access track is again very wet and flooded in places. The Auto grass track has standing water on it but all the grass is starting to grow giving that touch of spring. Chris B. |
